We are an initiative run by university students who believe in improving the quality and access to education around the world. We fully understand students being busy and we like them to prioritize their education! As a student volunteer you choose your hours, your pace, and can leave anytime.

Roles

Journalist / Writer (Psychology Student) As a journalist/writer, you research the latest psychology/education trends, statistics and studies. Based on your research, you write articles for our website (and you are given full credit and authorship). Examples of article themes we’ve had so far: mental health in international students, impostor syndrome, exam anxiety, burnout, growth mindset, etc.

Social Media - Video Editor As a social media editor, you will search for, edit, and caption education related clips relevant to our mission. For example, you might be editing a TedTalk about education into a condensed, 30-60 second video for social media.

Social Media - Creator As a social media creator, your main responsibility is bringing student stories to life. We have students fill out anonymous forms about their experiences in education such burnout, mental health, academic pressure, etc. You will take these stories and summarize them into posts that will go on our social media and help others feel less alone and empowered to stand up for themselves.

Communications / External Relations With the communications role, you reach out to NGO’s, student associations and other relevant partners, securing partnerships and maintaining relationships. The goal is to collaborate with NGO’s and student associations to connect volunteer tutors/mentors to underprivileged youth.
